Services

Patients experience physical misalignment, inflammation, and other symptoms that lead to discomfort, pain, and inability to enjoy life. These conditions are caused by working at a desk, improper movement patterns, stress, old sports injuries, accidents, pregnancy, and more.

Based on this, we believe all patients require a focused and customized approach to chiropractic care. We use a combination of traditional and the newest techniques to achieve results quickly and efficiently while providing the tools for long-lasting relief. Some of our services include:

CHIROPRACTIC CARE

SOFT TISSUE

Helps restore proper tension in the muscular system using Myofascial Release Technique (MRT).

DECOMPRESSION

Traction/decompression of the neck and low back are used for compression injuries and disc bulges.

E-STIM / MUSCLE STIM

Decreases muscle tension and increases blood flow to the tissues especially in cases of numbness.

CORRECTIVE EXERCISE

Improve posture and helps fix muscle imbalances. Includes ergonomic assessments and recommendations.

LASER THERAPY

Stimulates cellular metabolism to reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and accelerate healing. Effective for acute injuries, chronic pain, and post-activity recovery, trusted by professional athletes worldwide

PREGNANCY/INFANTS

Dr. Weich is one of the few trained to care for pregnant women and newborns using a gentle and safe approach called Webster Technique.

Some Techniques We Use

There are 5 components to the Gonstead system of chiropractic.

1.- Visualization – This is where we check your posture head to toe, how you walk, stand and how you sit in a chair. Visualization starts from the moment the patient walks in the door. Differences in height between the ears, shoulders and hips as well as posture and gait are useful to confirm your X-Ray and Palpation findings.

2.- Instrumentation – A dual probe instrument (Nervoscope or Delta-T) is used to get a bilateral temperature comparison of the spine to look for inflammation. “It indirectly engages the posterior primary rami and the recurrent meningeal nerve that initiates via the autonomic nervous system a release of substance P and calcitonin gene related peptide (inflammatory mediators) that follow the respective or clinically involved nerve root in a retrograde manner to the skin periphery. Thus the nervoscope reading.”
The cutaneous axon reflex- “The recurrent meningeal nerve innervates the articular capsule, the PLL and the annulus fibrosis. It has mixed sensory and sympathetic components. Anti-dromic stimulation, propagation of an impulse nerve misdirection of the dorsal root ganglion can raise the skin temperature.” Basically, in layman’s terms it tells us where to look and whether or not you need to be adjusted in that area on that day.

3.- Palpation – There are two types of palpation, the first is static where we feel for changes of tone, texture and temperature on the patient. The second is motion palpation where the area in question will be motioned to see if it is moving or fixated.

4.- X-rays – Once we have determined where we want to adjust the patient, the X-ray will tell us how to adjust that bone specifically. The X-rays also show any abnormalities or findings that would affect or dictate patient care.

5.- Case Management – Understanding problems with a patient’s health help us determine the area that a patient needs to be adjusted. Symptoms can help separate the two parts of the Autonomic Nervous System (Sympathetic and Parasympathetic) and aid us in applying a specific adjustment. In the Gonstead System we apply all the information from these modes of analysis and correlate our findings to determine the most likely cause of the patient’s problem. After misalignments are found, the use of the proper Gonstead technique is applied to effectively correct problem areas. The Gonstead system focuses on the dynamics of intervertebral disc as the underlying cause of subluxations and resulting neurological dysfunction.

Chiropractic BioPhysics is a highly-advanced, scientific, and proven chiropractic technique which corrects and restores your spine back to alignment, and alleviates pain and discomfort from its source.

Chiropractic BioPhysics combines biology, physiology, physics, geometry, and anatomy to identify the causes of your pain, discomfort, loss of mobility, and altered health. That means your diagnosis – and treatment – will be based on sound scientific and chiropractic principles.

You will start with a scientifically-based examination of your posture, spinal alignment, and function often involving x-rays as a way to pinpoint the root cause of your spinal misalignment. Once the source is identified, your doctor will create a carefully planned series of adjustments, exercises, and a spinal remodeling program to put you on a pain-free road to better health.

Unlike regular chiropractic that mainly focus on immediate pain relief, Chiropractic BioPhysics goes one step further to also correct the source of the problem. That’s why most patients under the care of a CBP chiropractor not only report relief from pain and discomfort, but as their posture begins to align, they notice other conditions clearing up as well.

Blair Upper Cervical care is a highly specialized system of locating and correcting this nerve interference in the spine, also known as a subluxation, where we can specifically correct one area of the spine to allow the rest of the spine to become healthy and stable again, significantly reducing the amount of adjusting and intervention.

The Blair technique utilizes neurological tests, heat sensitive instrumentation and other means for detecting when the vertebral subluxation is present or absent. The adjustment is administered only when nerve pressure is present.

The Blair technique utilizes precise x-rays or 3D CBCT of the upper cervical area to determine which way the vertebrae has misaligned so that a precise and specific adjustment may be tailored and administered to that individual.

The Webster technique is a gentle chiropractic adjustment that aligns the pelvis and includes a soft tissue release of associated muscle groups. It allows the pelvis to function properly during pregnancy. The technique reduces soft tissue tension that may cause uterine torsion which allows for an ideal environment for the baby to grow and move. Webster technique is helpful in providing relief for common lower back and sciatic pains that pregnant women often experience.

Laser therapy is used to treat acute and chronic conditions as well as post-activity recovery. When treating acute conditions with laser therapy, it is particularly effective when it is administered as soon as possible following injury. With chronic conditions, laser therapy is used most often to help combat persistent pain and inflammation. To aid in post-activity recovery, LightForce Lasers are used by over 250 pro, college, and Olympic sports teams across the United States and many parts of Europe and East Asia.

Our Approach to Care

We find the root cause of all issues with a thorough analysis from head to toe. We review lifestyle factors such as diet, water consumption, sleep quality, exerciseroutine, the amount of stress, and emotional well being.

As structural issues are being addressed, it is crucial to see each person as a whole to know precisely how to fix it, how long it will take, and how to prevent it from recurring again. While the physical aspect of health is restored, patients find other health issues that start to clear up and focus more on what they love to do.

Conditions We Treat

We see patients with all kinds of conditions. Our chiropractic services are applicable to patients of all ages, whether you suffer from chronic disease, experience minimal discomfort, or simply want to maximize your health.
